This was the first flower painting Kristin ever painted, and what started her on this path to capture natures perfection and to bring it in to our homes.

A fine art print of the detailed oil painting of a white and orange rose in a classic style evokes a sense of timeless elegance, with every brushstroke meticulously applied to capture the natural beauty and intricate details of the flowers.

The white rose —soft, pure, and luminous—painted with delicate layers of ivory and pale cream, creating a velvety texture that seems to glow against the dim background. The petals subtly blended, reflecting the light with an almost porcelain sheen. the petals gently unfurling, showcasing the layered structure and softness of the rose's delicate form.

The orange rose provides a striking contrast with warm, fiery hues ranging from deep amber to soft peach, giving the roses a sense of depth and life. The petals slightly curled, catching the light in a way that enhances their tactile, lifelike quality.

Behind the flowers, the background softly blurred in a wash—with shades of deep brown—creating a sense of depth and directing the viewer's attention solely to the flowers.

The surrounding leaves, painted in rich greens with varying tones, would add to the composition's natural harmony. The veins of each leaf carefully delineated, their surface textured with a slight gloss, giving them a three-dimensional quality.

The overall composition following the classical still life tradition, with the flowers thoughtfully arranged to create a sense of balance and harmony. The use of light and shadow, especially on the petals and the table's surface, emphasizes the tactile richness of the oil medium, inviting the viewer to pause and appreciate the painter's careful attention to detail and the fleeting beauty of the flowers.
